RightChain Nodes User Guide

(a) “Solution Filters” allow you to construct customized optimization and simulation scenarios by selecting one or more data filters and elements of each to include/exclude from the optimization. Examples include selections from among various business units, product families, individual products, geographical regions, specific locations, facility types, date ranges, etc. Please make sure to select “Exclude Selection(s)” when excluding, otherwise RightChain.ai assumes the filter selections should be included. Also, please remember to select “Apply Filter” to have the chosen filters and selections applied to the optimization. Please also remember to re-optimize after your filters have been applied.

(b) Click “APPLY FILTER” to execute scenario filters.

(d) Selected filters appear here. Highlight from the dropdown and press “Enter” on the keyboard to include. Highlight and press “Delete” or backspace on the keyboard to remove. (e) A list of candidate filters, extracted from the core input data set appears in the dropdown below the “Select Data Filters” window.

(f) Each selected filter creates a window from which data ranges and/or specific data elements may be included or excluded from the optimization scenario.

(g) Please check “Exclude Selections” to exclude the selected data ranges and/or data elements for the filter; otherwise RightChain.ai assumes the selected data ranges and/or data elements are to included at the exclusion of other data ranges and/or elements.
