As mentioned previously, some operations cannot afford or choose not to afford racking for pallet storage and/or conveyors for case picking. RightChain™ Pallets was employed in this operation to determine the optimal mix of pick vs. reserve pallets, the optimal lane depths for reserve storage, and the optimal slot locations for pick and reserve pallets.
